UrbanBNB is a marketplace for holiday rentals in India. Guests book a place, we hold the payment, and the host is paid 24 hours after a verified check-in.
Why it works that way
Paying a stranger in advance for a place you have never seen is the weak point in every rental marketplace. Holding the money until the guest is standing in the property fixes the incentive: a host earns by delivering what they advertised.
What we check
Every host is verified before their first listing goes live: photo ID, PAN, and proof the property is theirs. Every listing is reviewed by a person before it is published. Payout accounts are verified with a ₹1 test credit.
