How and when hosts get paid
Twenty-four hours after your guest checks in, straight to your bank account.
The timing
A guest pays when they book, and we hold that money. Twenty-four hours after they check in, we send your share to the bank account or UPI ID you registered. Most payouts arrive the same day by IMPS or NEFT, and you will see the bank reference number against the booking.
What you receive
Your nightly rate plus your cleaning fee, minus our commission. The guest also pays a separate service fee on top, which does not come out of your side.
Example, on a five-night stay at ₹5,000 with a ₹1,000 cleaning fee: the booking is ₹26,000, our commission comes off that, and the rest is yours. Your exact figures appear on the payout statement for each stay.
Before your first payout
- Your account must be approved, which means your documents have been checked.
- You must have added a bank account or UPI ID, and it must pass our ₹1 verification.
- The name on that account must match the name on your PAN.
Why payouts can be held
- A guest raised an issue within 24 hours of check-in. The money stays with us until it is resolved.
- You changed your bank details. Payouts pause for 72 hours, which protects you if someone gets into your account.
- A large payout is checked by a person before it goes out.
Statements and tax
Every payout has a statement showing the gross amount, our commission and what reached your bank. Tax on your earnings is your responsibility. Speak to a chartered accountant about GST and income tax on rental income.
