Privacy policy

What we collect, why, and how long we keep it.

What we collect

  • Account details: name, email, phone number.
  • From hosts: identity documents, PAN, proof of property ownership, and bank or UPI details for payouts.
  • Bookings: dates, the property, the amount, and check-in records.
  • Payments: handled by our payment provider. Full card numbers never reach our servers.
  • Disputes: anything you send us as evidence.

What we do not store

We do not store Aadhaar numbers. Hosts are asked to mask them before uploading any ID. We do not store full bank account numbers: those go to the payout provider, and we keep only the last four digits and the IFSC. We do not store card details at all.

Why we collect it

To operate bookings and payouts, to verify who hosts are, to resolve disputes, to meet tax and regulatory obligations, and to prevent fraud.

Who we share it with

  • Payment and payout providers, to move money.
  • KYC providers, to verify identity documents.
  • The other party to a booking, in limited form: a host sees a guest's name, not their phone number, and the exact address reaches a guest only once the booking is confirmed.
  • Authorities, where the law requires it.

We do not sell personal data.

How long we keep it

Financial records are kept as long as tax law requires. Verification documents are kept while the account is active and for a period afterwards. Ask us to delete your account and we will, apart from records we are legally required to retain.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask for corrections, or ask for deletion. Write to the support address in the footer.
