Report a safety concern
If you are in danger, call the emergency services first. Then tell us.
If you are in immediate danger
Call 112, the all-in-one emergency number in India, or 100 for police. Your safety comes before any booking, refund or policy. Deal with the emergency first and tell us afterwards.
Tell us as soon as you can
Message us on WhatsApp or call the number in the footer. Have your booking reference ready. Safety reports go to the front of the queue.
What counts
- The property is unsafe: exposed wiring, a gas leak, no working lock, a fire exit that is blocked.
- The listing was seriously misrepresented, or the address does not exist.
- Someone entered the property without warning or permission.
- Threats, harassment or discrimination, by anyone.
- A host or guest asked you to pay or communicate off the platform, which usually means a scam.
What we do
We freeze the payment so the host is not paid while we investigate, contact both sides, and can refund you, suspend the account, or remove the listing. Serious matters are reported to the authorities.
Keep it on the platform
Book, pay and message through us. Anyone asking for a bank transfer, UPI payment or cash outside UrbanBNB is putting you outside every protection described here.
